Strike raises for Cooper testing

STRIKE Energy has completed a $6.7 million private placement with sophisticated investors, backed by its directors, which suggests the company is confident it is close to declaring is Southern Cooper Basin gas project commercial.

The company issued 67 million new 10 cent shares, at a 18.4% discount to the 10‐ day volume weighted average. Shareholders will be required to approve the 1.7 million shares sought by the directors....
