EXXONMOBIL has partnered with several other private and public organisations and companies to develop the agricultural potential of the Hela Province in PNG.
The consortium includes agriculture firm Innovative Agro Industry (IAI), MRDC, the Hela Provincial Government and the Tari-Pori, Koroba-Kopiago and Komo Margarima local governments.
The project initiative is led by IAI, which will train and equip small-holder farmers to produce stock feed and vegetables and then look to rejuvenate the local coffee industry.
