The company was found guilty of using its main provider status to pressure subcontractors to take responsibility for overdue gas payments. Such actions are frowned upon under South Korean law. In many cases, the subcontractors were forced to bear the losses themselves when they were unable to collect payment due.

Daehan is a supplier of gas services and also manufactures natural gas-powered buses.
