Hearne offers shale lessons

AUSTRALIA will have to do a lot of heavy lifting to maintain its LNG dominance, with the US able to develop around 1400 trillion cubic feet of shale gas that is recoverable at just $4 per million BTUs or less, Chevron Australia boss Nigel Hearn warned yesterday.
