Mosaic Oil and partners, Black Gold Oil, have spudded the Barker well, 120 kms south of Roma, south east Queensland.
Total depth for well is 2,350 metres and Mosaic estimates recoverable gas to be in the vicinity of 30 million bcf of recoverable gas, one million barrels of recoverable oil / condensate and significant volumes of LPG.
The well is located within seven kilometres of Mosaic's pipeline infrastructure at their Silver Springs processing facility.
