Electric car concerns emerge

THE world consumes around 94 million barrels of oil per day, with around 70% of that consumed as transportation fuel, so any attempt to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and particulate matter needs to start with the humble family car, work van or motorcycle, but as the nations of the world start a seemingly inevitable switch towards the electric car, a new study has warned there could be hidden dangers.
