BHP finalises Browse sale

BHP Billiton has completed the sale of its 8.33% interest in the East Browse joint venture and 20% of the West Browse JV to Petrochina International Investment for $US1.62 billion ($A1.72).

The deal was first announced late last year, but the company has just received all the relevant documents, which have been signed and finalised. BHP Billiton is no longer a part of any Browse joint ventures....
