Green tank report goes mainstream

GREEN think tank Overseas Development Institute and clean energy-pushing lobby group Oil Change International have claimed that Australian government subsidies to its fossil fuel industries are worth between $US2.9 to $3.5 billion ($A3.36-4.06 billion) a year.

Its joint report, titled "The Fossil Fuel Bailout", has also claimed that the G20 nations are collectively handing out $88 billion in fossil fuel exploration subsidies.
