Western flank puts on a show

DRILLING operations are underway for Beach Energy at two locations on the western flank of the company's Cooper Basin assets, with initial testing returning oil shows.

The Rincon North-1 well encountered oil shows in the McKinlay, Namur and Murta intervals with wireline logging showing 2m of oil pay.
