New CEO for SDS

Drill bit manufacturer, SDS Corporation, has appointed a long time Schlumberger executive as CEO ...

Christian Lange will take up the position of CEO of SDS as of October 1, with an initial review of all SDS operations.

The Perth-born Lange has held many senior roles in various Schlumberger operations which include Yemen, New Zealand and Venezuela. Most recently, he has worked in New York as Schlumberger's director of investor relations. He has qualifications which include a degree in drilling and petroleum engineering and a masters of business administration.

Founder and current CEO, Fred Moir, will assume the role of chairman upon Lange's appointment.
