Tap Oil, one of the partners in the Harriet JV, said the Bob prospect was unsuccessful due to limited cross fault seal on the downthrown side of the bounding fault. "However, the presence of gas columns with several sandstones intervals, although not commercial here, provides significant encouragement for the trapping mechanism and for other prospects in the permit," Tap said.

Tap added the Ensco-56 rig will now commence drilling a series of Flag Sandstone wells. These wells included South Plato-3, Gibson-2H, Simpson-7 and West Simpson-1 within Harriet production licences.
