Bengal set to spin Cooper-Eromanga drill bit

BENGAL Energy is gearing up to kick off an initial three-well drilling program at its Tookoonooka permit in the Cooper-Eromanga Basin after purchasing an Ideco drilling rig.

Bengal paid $US1.75 million ($A1.7 million) for the Ideco H-44 rig. It will also pay an additional $US1 million for ancillary equipment and to mobilise the rig from its current location in Dubai to Brisbane....
