One dry two to go for Petsec

Petsec has come up dry on the bottom prospect of the West Cameron 352 #A-14 well in the Gulf of M...

Upon reaching the total depth of the well Petsec found the target sands to be depleted of gas and decided to plug it back to 976m and side track to test the two target sands of the West Cameron 352 #A-15 prospect location.

These target sands have a total unrisked mapped potential of around four to six billion cubic feet (gross) of natural gas.

The well is located 80km south of Cameron Parish offshore Louisiana in the Gulf of Mexico with Petsec holding a working Interest of 75% and a net Revenue Interest of 57.375%.

Petsec has two wells planned for the program to test for a combined total unrisked mapped potential of 10bcf to 16bcf of natural gas.
