Located in PEL 92 about 85 km west of Moomba the well follows on from the highly successful Sellicks and Christies wells.

The partners have agreed to fast track development of Christies by shooting 3D seismic followed by a probable two or three development well program, which may result in Christies producing up to 1,000bopd.

Interests in Brighton-1 are Beach Petroleum (operator) 75% and Cooper Energy 25%.
