Santos finishes Oyong seismic shoot

Santos announced this week that the vessel 'MV Geco Angler' has finished a 72 square kilometre 3D seismic survey over the Oyong oil and gas discovery.

The Oyong oil and gas field is located in the Sampang Production Sharing Contract in offshore East Java. The 3D seismic data will be used in conjunction with other ongoing studies to assist in preparing reserve estimates and in development planning, according to the company.

Participants in the Sampang PSC are Cue Sampang Pty Ltd 15 per cent, Santos (Sampang) Pty Ltd 45% (Operator) and Coastal Indonesia Sampang Ltd 40%.
