More GoM lease bids

ANOTHER Gulf of Mexico lease sale has taken place under US President Barack Obama's all-of-the-above strategy, garnering $US872 million ($A965 million) in high bids on 329 tracts covering 1.7 million acres.

The sale builds on the first three sales held under the outer continental shelf oil and gas leasing program for 2012-17 that offered up more than 60 million acres and made $1.4 billion in bid revenues....
