The company said today its Syd-A3 well (100% working interest) had indicated 54 net feet of gas reservoir over three zones, six feet more than pre-drill estimates.
Golden Gate managing director Sam Russotti said this maintained the company’s 100% success rate. He expected the three wells, with the addition of another well which was to be worked over, would give it a combined daily gas production by January in the range of around two million cubic feet per day.
The testing of Syd-A3 and Syd-A2 would commence next week according to Russotti. Other oil and gas bearing zones would be tested and completed for production once the target Paluxy formation had been depleted.
