The measures and the poorly developed, water-bearing High Cliff sections will be abandoned after the Arc Energy-operated well was drilled 3,003 metres, Sydney-based Origin said yesterday.

But the bore was gas-bearing over about 205 metres and a suspension plug is being set at 620-750m for sidetracking of the well in the future.

A suspension plug at 620-750m measured depth was being set up after the well was drilled to 3,003m.

Participants in L1 and L2 (excluding the Dongara, Mondarra and Yardarino fields)and Hakia 2: Arc Energy (operator) 50% and Origin Energy Developments 50%.
