DERM clears Kingaroy water bores

COUGAR Energy has been vindicated after the latest testing results from groundwater in and around the Kingaroy underground coal gasification plant found there are no concerns with water quality.

On Wednesday, the Queensland Department of Environment and Resource Management removed the restriction on the use of groundwater in bores in a 2km radius around the UCG plant after the latest results
