THE head of India’s major LNG importer, Petronet, says he is open to signing a mid-term deal for new gas supplies, but he wants $US5/MMBtu, which is below the prevailing market price, while US start-up Tellurian is offing a flat $8/MMBtu to Japanese buyers.
