Sempra subsidiary settles for US$1.1B over 2015 gas leak

SEMPRA Energy subsidiary SoCalGas has announced it will settle a civil case against it with a US$1.1 billion payout in relation to a gas facility blow out in 2015 north of Los Angeles that forced thousands of people to evacuate.
