Origin posts lower APLNG revenue

INTEGRATED gas giant Origin Energy received quarterly revenue of A$553 million from its 27.5% interest in the Australia Pacific LNG project on Curtis Island, Queensland. At the same time, vast workovers have helped keep upstream gas production steady.

While production remained relatively unchanged for the three-month period, revenue was down 15%, or A$58 million, over the same period last year, due to lower realised commodity prices and domestic prices....
