CONFIDENCE in the renewable energy sector has sunk since last year, according to survey results from the Clean Energy Council, with respondents citing grid connection issues and unpredictable government intervention as key reasons not to invest in Australia.

Long-standing grid connection issues also raised

Compared to 12 months ago, investment confidence has dropped from 7.3 out of 10 in July 2020 to 6.3, now at its second-lowest level since December 2019, the CEC said.
