European Commission unveils world's largest decarbonisation experiment

THE European Commission has revealed its sweeping economic vision, which would impose carbon border taxes on high-emissions imports from other nations, as it aims to reduce emissions across the bloc by 55% by 2030 compared to 1990 levels, in a bid to reach net-zero 2050.
