Slugcatcher on peak oil going missing in action

EXACTLY 12 months ago the price of oil hit an all-time high of $US147.29 a barrel, a fact that reminded <i>Slugcatcher</i> to ask believers in "peak oil" what went wrong after that momentous day, because with oil back around $60/bbl, doesn't the peak oil model look broken?

Not so, is their answer. True believers would not be true believers if they wavered under the pressure of oil-price movement in a single year. But once the true believers in peak oil play the time card...
