Slugcatcher on peak oil going missing in action

EXACTLY 12 months ago the price of oil hit an all-time high of $US147.29 a barrel, a fact that reminded Slugcatcher to ask believers in "peak oil" what went wrong after that momentous day, because with oil back around $60/bbl, doesn't the peak oil model look broken?
