The board of HiTec Energy has announced the appointment of Dr David Teplitzky as a director of the company. Dr Teplitzky is currently deputy chairman of Macquarie Goodman Industrial Property Trust and its management company. He has a PhD in chemical engineering and for many years was responsible for the regional operations of a major US chemical and pharmaceutical multinational, Hitec said.

Tap Oil Limited has announced the appointment of Mr Neale F Taylor as an independent non- executive director of the company. Tap Oil said Mr Taylor has over 30 years technical, operating and commercial experience in oil and gas exploration and production, development planning, acquisitions and joint venture management, primarily with Esso and more recently with Nexus Energy.

Amity Oil has appointed former Bank of Scotland general manager Australasia, Mr Fraser Campbell as non-executive director. Amity Oil said the appointment of Mr Campbell would help the company make inroads into the European financial markets.

Mr A Watson has retired from the board of New Zealand Oil & Gas Ltd after eight years as director.
