OPEC+ reaches production agreement

OPEC and its allies have managed to strike a deal overnight, agreeing to increase output by 500,000 barrels of oil per day in January, despite concerns on oversupply in the new year as lockdowns continue to persist as countries try to deal with COVID-19 outbreaks.
