As Senior Geophysicist with Beach you will plan, interpret and integrate 2D and 3D seismic data with geological data to produce subsurface maps to aid new oil and gas field discoveries or delineate existing discoveries. The roles will also be responsible for:

  • Integration of well data into geological frameworks

  • Conducting risk analysis of prospects and leads

  • Creating seriatims of prospects to assess potential, prioritise drilling and evaluate New Ventures opportunities.

  • Planning effective exploration programs and supervising exploration activities.

We are seeking Geophysicists with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, who think strategically and proactively lead the mentor others. Tertiary qualifications in geophysics or structural geology are essential requirements, as are a solid background of prospect and lead generation and demonstrated knowledge of workstation and mapping software.

The successful applicants will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment, prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and achieve under pressure.
