NEXT month’s SEAAOC 2007 conference will feature a downstream gas industries session to complement the line-up of upstream presentations.

Four speakers will present on the topic, including Brian Cann, assistant director to the Department of the Chief Minister, assistant director, the agency responsible for attracting gas industries to the Northern Territory.

Recent activities, current thinking and some history will be the focus of Cann’s speech.

Specialist international consulting firm Nexant have recently completed a major downstream gas industry study for the NT Government. The findings will inform and guide future downstream investment attraction efforts.

SEAAOC will be held from May 30 to June 1 at the Holiday Inn Esplanade.
