Government launches A$300M hydrogen fund via CEFC

THE Clean Energy Finance Corporation has been directed by the Australian government to provide up to A$300 million to support the development of the hydrogen industry, and has announced it will update the green bank’s mandate to allow it to fund non-renewable forms of hydrogen production.

Plans to update mandate to fund non-renewable hydrogen

 

The Advancing Hydrogen Fund will work in tandem with the Australia Renewable Energy Corporation's A$70 million green hydrogen fund, which aims to provide funding to up to two projects.
