EPI Energy eyes South Sumatra projects

NuEnergy Gas and EPI Energy have signed a memorandum of understanding for the acquisition of NuEnergy’s subsidiary Dart Energy Holdings (DEIH).

EPI have expressed an interest in acquiring an unknown amount of DEIH and providing technical knowhow and financial support for the development of  NuEnergy assets. 
 
NuEnergy has a working interest through DEIH in three prospects in South Sumatra. It has a 45% stake in Tanjung Enim, and a 50% interest in the Muralim product sharing contracts. It also has an interest in the Bontang Bengalon prospect. 
 
The company's Muralim prospect holds recoverable resources of 682 billion cubic feet, its Tanjung Enim prospect has a recoverable 165Bcf of gas and Bontang Bengalon is unknown at this stage.
