After a short breather in order to start production from the Hoover and North Pedirka oil fields the Harriet Joint Venture has continued on its way by spudding the Karangi-1 exploration well.
The well is located in TP/8 east of Varanus Island and will target multiple reservoir horizons on the Barrow anticline north of Barrow Island.
Harriet Joint Venture participants are Tap Oil 12.2229%, Apache Energy (operator) 68.5% and Kufpec Australia 19.2771%.
