Tingu-1 anticipation

THE outcome of the Tingu-1 well, expected to spud in July, could help finalise seismic and drilling plans for the adjacent Kina Petroleum-operated tenement PPL 437 in a wet-gas region of Papua New Guinea's Western province.

Tingu-1 is roughly 8km northwest of the successful Elevala-2 well and also within the Talisman Energy, Horizon Oil, Kina and Mitsubishi-shared petroleum licence 21.
