Emerson wins global Total contract

TOTAL has selected Emerson to provide control and safety system maintenance services that will support the French super-major's upstream oil and gas operations around the world, including those in Australasia.

The 10-year frame agreement is part of Total's ‘Integrated Control and Safety Systems' standardisation strategy, and is the first of its kind between Total and an automation systems provider.
